Deborah is an experienced registered clinical psychologist who was a Director of the ECU psychology training clinic and clinical supervisor for Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) and PhD (Clinical Psychology) students for 10 years until 2014.  As well as supervising the practical training of clinical psychology probational psychologists, Deborah lectured in the clinical psychology program and supervised research projects.  She published journal articles and books both internationally and locally.  Deborah has also practiced in major Western Australian public hospitals, including both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings, and in private practice settings working with people of all ages.
Deborah provides a collaborative, evidence-based approach to therapy that is both empathetic and accepting. Amongst her skills is the ability to utilise clinical hypnotherapy as an adjunct therapy for a number of issues including smoking cessation and anxiety disorders.
