Deborah is an experienced registered clinical psychologist who was a Director of the ECU psychology training clinic and clinical supervisor for Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) and PhD (Clinical Psychology) students for 10 years.  As well as supervising the practical training of clinical psychology probational psychologists, Deborah lectured in the clinical psychology program and supervised research projects.  She has published journal articles both internationally and locally.  Deborah has also practiced in major Western Australian public hospitals, including both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings, and in private practice settings working with people of all ages.
 
Deborah provides a collaborative, evidence-based approach to therapy that is both empathetic and accepting. Amongst her skills is the ability to utilise clinical hypnotherapy as an adjunct therapy for a number of issues including smoking cessation and anxiety disorders.

Della Commons completed her study in 2014 and since this time has been working in private practice providing psychological assistance to members of the community. Della provides affordable clinical psychology services to treat a range of issues including those related to: anxiety, mood, attention/hyperactivity, parenting stress, self esteem, job related stress, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties.

Della delivers evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also favours a collaborative strength based approach. Della has a keen interest in anxiety issues, including health anxiety, and recently published an article in the journal of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (2015) entitled:​  “A Preliminary Investigation into Worry about Mental Health: Development of the Mental Health Anxiety Inventory”  by Commons, Greenwood and Anderson.
